Snuff, the smoke-free and environmentally-friendly tobacco enjoyment, is the oldest tobacco consumer product in the world and has been very popular for many centuries in Asia, Africa, America and particularly in Europe. Around one million Germans regularly treat themselves to this pleasurable experience.back to products
Start with small pinches. Sniff the snuff only very gently. This will provide you with the most enjoyment. Take a few seconds after sniffing the pinch. In doing so, you will enjoy the flavour of the snuff to the full extent and the sparkling feeling of freshness.
Sneezing after a pinch of snuff is not at all forbidden. The more often you sniff, however, the less you have to sneeze. Whether you take in your snuff from the back of your hand or from your fingertips is entirely up to you. What matters is the enjoyment afterwards.
A snuff must be slightly moist. If it does not easily flow out of the tin, a short tap is often enough in order to loosen it again. Treat yourself to the pleasure of trying every type of Pöschl Snuff at some point because your favourite flavour is certainly among them.
The “Cancer Research” workgroup of the World Health Organisation (WHO) declares in their most recent publication on smokeless tobacco that several studies have not provided any conclusive evidence of cancers through nasal snuff. *
From this statement of high-level scientists of the world’s top health authority it can therefore be concluded that no cancer risk factors result from snuff.

Snuff is a tobacco product and thus also contains nicotine. Especially the English researcher Professor Russell has established in studies that the transfer of the nicotine into the body occurs fairly rapidly during sniffing. Nicotine in small quantities, as enjoyed when consuming snuff, is certainly a stimulant. This is considered today to be a scientifically established fact.
Since tobacco is not burned during sniffing, the condensate substances known from smoked tobacco products are not developed. Snuff is not smoked. Hence, its use does not disturb your neighbour. It is therefore the ideal alternative to smoking anywhere where smoking is prohibited or frowned upon. This is certainly also one reason why more and more people are turning towards the use of smokeless tobacco.
Since no condensate is formed, snuff is the ideal stimulant for all sports men and women. Many athletes use snuff because it keeps their nose free and it refreshes.
While other tobacco products are subject to increasingly tough warnings, the EU-wide warning for snuff only underlines the potential risks relating to excessive snuff consumption. Consequently, snuff is put on a similar level with other stimulants, such as wine or coffee. After all, a pinch of snuff provides uncomplicated refreshment now and then and a real "clear-headed experience". And that without a bad conscience: because snuff is smokeless tobacco enjoyment which is allowed everywhere.
In summary, it can be said that according to the current state of literature and science, snuff is an extremely low-risk tobacco product which, as a result of its environmentally friendly use - since nothing is burned – does not harm any fellow human beings. Snuff is the ideal alternative for everyone looking for smokeless tobacco enjoyment. Furthermore, the ingredients of snuff are also subject to the strict German Tobacco Law (previously contained in Food Law) with the tobacco regulations contained therein and ongoing quality control.
